Connecting electricity

When first moving in and connecting the electricity supply, turn all switches in the breaker board to "ON," and check whether electricity is being supplied. After confirming electricity is being supplied, contact your local Kansai Electric office to notify them of your name, address, the date of occupancy, and your customer number written on the envelope placed near the breaker or meter.
- *If no electricity is being supplied even though the breaker switches are ON, contact the Kansai Electric repair service.
- *The wiring and meter for the electric water heater will be connected once your application has been accepted. The heater will be available for use the day after the wiring is performed to allow the water to heat overnight.
Breakers
Breakers are usually installed on a distribution board located near the entrance of the residence. The breakers consist of an earth leakage breaker (the main breaker) and safety breakers. (Some distribution boards have no main breaker.)
