Information About Bidding
Information on the metering portion of 2nd generation smart meters(to be procured in fiscal 2025 or later)
Kansai Transmission and Distribution, Inc. is planning to install smart meters that meet the specifications and requirements set forth by the Next-Generation Smart Meter System Study Group in its service area in fiscal 2025.
To solicit a wide range of suppliers, Kansai Transmission and Distribution will hold a briefing session on procurement for suppliers in January 2024 ahead of general competitive bidding.
Suppliers will then be selected sometime in the first half of 2024. Please note that all documentation, questions, and other correspondences should be submitted in Japanese.

- (4) Power of attorney from the manufacturer(only if participating as a distributor)
* If participating as a distributor, (3) must be submitted from both the distributor and the manufacturer.
